Kannada actor Yash’s fame rose sky-high when his film KGF: Chapter 1 hit the theatres in 2018. The film, directed by Prashanth Neel, released in five languages and was hailed by the audience across the world. Now, the makers are busy with the production of KGF: Chapter 2.
On January 8, Yash turns 34 and director Prashanth has released a new poster as promised. In the poster, Yash is standing tall with a huge hammer in his hand. The actor looks like he is all set to take on the villains with his massive weapon. The poster has the wordings, “Rocking Star since 1986.
A few days ago, Yash, at a private event, announced that the teaser of KGF: Chapter 2 will release on his birthday. However, the director later took to his Twitter page to apologise to the fans saying that he would not be able to complete the teaser work in time.
In an earlier interview to a leading daily, Yash said, “The scale of the presentation is going to be much larger this time. Now that KGF is a recognised brand, we have expectations to live up to. Not that we were any less careful with the first part, but we’re aiming to turn the technical aspects up a notch in the sequel. The script contains a few very complex action sequences for which we might have to get help from foreigner technicians.”

कन्नड़ सुपरस्टार और ‘केजीएफ’ फिल्म एक्टर यश का आज 34वां जन्मदिन है। ‘केजीएफ’ की सफलता के चलते अब इसका दूसरा पार्ट भी बन रहा है। ‘केजीएफ’ के दूसरे पार्ट यानी ‘केजीएफ 2’ में भी यश नजर आने वाले हैं। यश के जन्मदिन पर ‘केजीएफ 2’ के मेकर्स ने फिल्म का नया पोस्टर शेयर किया है। पोस्टर में एक बार फिर यश का दमदार अवतार देखने को मिल रहा है। ‘केजीएफ 2’ के नए पोस्टर को फिल्म के डायरेक्टर प्रशांथ नील ने अपने इंस्टाग्राम अकाउंट पर शेयर किया है।
फिल्म ‘केजीएफ 2’ के नए पोस्टर को शेयर करते हुए प्रशांथ नील ने पोस्टर में लिखा, ‘हमारे रॉकी को जन्मदिन की ढेर सारी शुभकामनाएं।’ पोस्टर में यश ब्लैक कलर की ड्रेस में नजर आ रहे हैं। साथ ही उनके हाथ में हथियार दिख है। तस्वीर में यश के चेहरे पर गुस्सा साफ दिखाई दे रहा है। इस तस्वीर से अंदाजा लगाया जा सकता है कि ‘केजीएफ’ की तरह ही ‘केजीएफ 2’ भी हिट होने वाली है।
साल 2018 में रिलीज हुई ‘केजीएफ’ कन्नड़ सिनेमा की सबसे ज्यादा बजट वाली फिल्म थी। फिल्म ‘केजीएफ’ ने वर्ल्ड वाइड 250 करोड़ा का बिजनेस किया। जोकि कन्नड़ सिनेमा में अब तक का रिकॉर्ड है। वहीं ‘केजीएफ 2’ में बॉलीवुड एक्टर संजय दत्त विलेन के किरदार में नजर आने वाले हैं। यह फिल्म जुलाई 2020 में हिंदी, मलयालम, तमिल और तेलगु में रिलीज होगी।
