बता दें की ये फिल्म 1971 के भारत पाक युद्ध में शहीद हुए सेकेंड लेफ्टिनेंट अरुण खेत्रपाल की ज़िंदगी और वीरता पर बेस्ड होगी सेकेंड लेफ्टिनेंट अरूण खेत्रपाल को मरणोपरांत परमवीर चक्र से सम्मानित किया गया था वरुण पहली बार किसी फिल्म में आर्मी ऑफिसर का रोल प्ले करते हुए दिखाई देंगे इस फिल्म का डायरेक्शन श्रीराम राघवन कर रहे है इस फिल्म को प्रोडूस दिनेश विजान कर रहे है दिनेश विजान का कहना है की यह फिल्म एक बहुत बड़ी जिम्मेदारी है हम खेत्रपाल के परिवार और पूना रेजीमेंट के आभारी हैं कि उन्होंने हमें अरुण की कहानी बताने का मौका दिया बता दें कि सेकेंड लेफ्टिनेंट अरुण खेत्रपाल हिंदुस्तान के सबसे कम उम्र के परमवीर चक्र विजेता अफसर हैं 1971 में हुए बसंतर युद्ध में 21 साल के अरुण ने पाकिस्तान के 10 टैंक खत्म कर पाकिस्तानी सेना को आगे बढ़ने से रोक दिया था
