It’s Former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayalalithaa’s 72nd birth anniversary today. To remember the late politician, the makers of Kangana Ranaut starrer Thalaivi unveiled her new look. The photo of Kangana, who is a spitting image of Jayalalithaa in it was shared by her sister Rangoli Chandel on her Twitter page. In the photo, Ms Ranaut is seen donning a white saree with a black and red border. She tied her hair in a neat bun and completed her look with a red vermillion and her pretty smile.
Before that, Rangoli shared the photo of Jayalalithaa in the same attire and look which shows the striking resemblance with Kangana
The talented actor-filmmaker further said, “I do feel that there are similarities. She was a very reluctant actor. It is the same with me. I never wanted to be an actor, and that is why we became very unusual actors. I think she always felt that she was worth much more than just being a glam doll [in films], and she became a politician. Like how I became a filmmaker because I felt that being an actress was very limiting for me. So, I think there are parallels.”
“The film will be an unvarnished depiction of Late Jayalalitha’s life. Her life was a mix of glamour, love, heartbreak, struggle and success.
‘Thalaivi’ has been written by ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Manikarnika’ writer KV Vijayendra Prasad and ‘The Dirty Picture’ and ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai’ writer Rajat Arora.
जब से फिल्म ‘थलाइवी’ के मेकर्स ने कंगना रनौत के साथ फिल्म का एलान किया है तभी से लोगों में इस फिल्म के प्रति एक्साइटमेंट देखने को मिल रही है। फैन्स उम्मीद कर रहे हैं कि जयलिलता पर बन रही बायोपिक बॉक्स ऑफिस पर हिट साबित हो। कंगना रनौत भी जयललिता की बायोपिक पर पूरी शिद्दत के साथ काम कर रही हैं। और कुछ खास तैयारियां करने से पीछे नहीं हट रही हैं। जयललिता जैसा लुक पाने के लिए जी-तोड़ मेहनत कर रही है। कंगना रनौत का फिल्म ‘थलाइवी’ से जब फर्स्ट लुक सामने आया था तो सभी उनके लुक को देखकर हैरान हो गए थे। प्रोस्थेटिक की मदद से कंगना रनौत ने सभी को शॉक्ड कर दिया था। अब, जयललिता की जयंती पर कंगना रनौत की बहन रंगोली चंदेल ने फिल्म ‘थलाइवी’ से ही दूसरा लुक शेयर किया है। सोशल मीडिया पर जो तेजी से वायरल भी हो रहा है।
जयललिता से कंगना रनौत का ये लुक हू-ब-हू मिलता है। कंगना रनौत ने सफेद रंग की साड़ी पहनी हुई है, जिस पर लाल और काले रंग की पट्टियां हैं। बालों में जूड़ा बना हुआ है और माथे पर लाल बिंदी है। साथ ही मैचिंग ईयररिंग्स पहने हुए हैं।
रंगोली चंदेल कंगना रनौत का नया लुक शेयर करते हुए लिखती हैं कि कंगना, ‘थलाइवी’ के रूप में नजर आ रही हैं, बिना किसी प्रोस्थेटिक और स्पेशल इफेक्ट्स के। कंगना हू-ब-हू जया अम्मा की तरह दिखाई दे रही हैं। मेहनत रंग ला रही है और मेहनत से ही आप इस दुनिया में कुछ भी हासिल कर सकते हैं।
इससे पहले फिल्म ‘थलाइवी’ से अरविंद स्वामी का भी लुक सामने आया था जिसमें वह पॉलिटीशियन एमजी रामाचंद्रन का किरदार निभाने जा रहे हैं। फिल्म तीन भाषाओं में 26 अप्रैल को रिलीज होगी।
