Taapsee Pannu will be reuniting with her Manmarziyaan director Anurag Kashyap for a supernatural thriller. The film, which is not titled yet, will go on floors by the end of this year and will be released in 2020. It will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule.
Talking to a daily, Anurag confirmed the news and said, Taapsee keeps me on my toes and is on a mission to make me take on challenges. I have never done anything like this before, so I am looking forward to it.
Taapsee said she knew she would reunite with the director soon. She added, But I didn’t know it would happen so soon. We had been discussing stories and this one received a resounding yes’ from everyone. I am looking forward to it as I have not explored the supernatural genre in Hindi films yet.
Taapsee was appreciated for her role in Manmarziyaan where she played Rumi who is in love with Vicky (played by Vicky Kaushal). The film also had Abhishek Bachchan in the lead.
The Pink actress is currently enjoying the success of Sujoy Ghosh’s Badla. The film also features Amitabh Bachchan and Amrita Singh in pivotal roles. The film is an official adaptation of Spanish film, The Invisible Guest.
As of now, Taapsee’s recent film, Badla, is doing good business at the box office and has received positive reviews from critics. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan in a lead role, playing the character of Taapsee’s lawyer. This is their second outing together after 2016’s Pink. The movie also features Amrita Singh, Manav Kaul and Tony Luke in pivotal roles. Presented by Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Azure Entertainment, Badla has been produced by Gauri Khan, Sunil Kheterpal and Akshai Puri and co-produced by Gaurav Verma.

फिल्मकार अनुराग कश्यप और अभिनेत्री तापसी पन्नू एक बार फिर साथ में काम करते नजर आएंगे। यह फिल्म एक सुपरनेचुरल थ्रिलर होगी।
इस फिल्म का नाम फिलहाल तय नहीं हुआ है। इसका निर्माण सुनीर खेतरपाल की एज्यूर एंटरटेंमेंट करेगी जिसकी शूटिंग इस साल नवंबर और दिसंबर में होगी।
फिल्म 2020 में रिलीज होगी।तापसी ने एक बयान में कहा, “मुझे हमेशा से पता था कि मैं ‘मनमर्जियां’ के दौरान मिले अनुभव के बाद अनुराग के साथ फिर से काम करूंगी लेकिन मुझे नहीं पता था कि यह इतनी जल्द होगा।”
अनुराग फिलहाल फिल्म के लिए लोकेशन की खोज में व्यस्त हैं।अनुराग ने एक बयान में कहा, “तापसी मुझे काफी ऊर्जा देती हैं। वह मुझे चुनौतियों से निपटने के लिए प्रेरित करती हैं। इस बार उन्होंने मुझे एक नई चुनौती दी है और मैं इसे ले रहा हूं। मैंने पहले कभी ऐसा कुछ नहीं किया है, इसलिए मैं काफी उत्सुक हूं।”

हाल ही में फिल्म ‘बदला ‘ में नजर आई तापसी पन्नू ने अपने अभिनय से एक बार फिर से उन निर्देशकों का ध्यान अपनी ओर आकर्षित किया है जिनके साथ वो पहले काम कर चुकी है। समाचार के अनुसार तापसी एक बार फिर अनुराग कश्यप के साथ काम करने जा रही हैं। इनके साथ वह पहले मनमर्जियाँ नामक फिल्म कर चुकी है जिसमें अभिषेक बच्चन और विक्की कौशल ने मुख्य भूमिकाएँ निभाई थी।
