The makers of Abhishek Sharma’s directorial Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari, which went on the floors in January, have revealed Fatima Sana Shaikh’s first look from the film. This comes a week after the first look, featuring Manoj Bajpayee and Diljit Dosanjh was unveiled.
The new still shows Fatima draped in a red sari, wearing bangles and heavy jewellery. She is seen smiling at someone while working in the kitchen.
Sharing the first look image on Instagram, Fatima describes her character as a “Marathi mulgi.” She also wishes her followers on Valentine’s Day.
Abhishek had earlier shared details of the film, where he had stated it will be a family comedy set in the 1990s, when there were no mobile phones or social media.
Produced by Zee Studios, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is slated to release at a yet-undetermined date in the second half of the year.

साल 2016 में फोगट बहनों पर बनी आमिर खान की सुपरहिट फिल्म ‘दंगल’ में गीता फोगट का रोल करने वाली ऐक्ट्रेस फातिमा सना शेख अब मराठी किरदार में नजर आने वाली हैं। फातिमा अपनी आने वाली फिल्म ‘सूरज पे मंगल भारी’ में एक मराठी महिला का रोल प्ले करेंगी। उन्होंने अपने इंस्टाग्राम अकाउंट पर आने वाली फिल्म में अपने लुक की पहली तस्वीर पोस्ट की है।
इस साल के अंत तक रिलीज होने वाली फिल्म में फातिमा सना शेख के साथ मनोज बाजपेयी, दिलजीत दोसांज भी नजर आएंगे। यह फिल्म एक पारिवारिक कॉमेडी फिल्म होगी जो 90 के दशक में मुंबई के एक परिवार की कहानी पर आधारित है। वैलंटाइंस डे के दिन पहला लुक पोस्ट करते हुए सना ने लिखा, ‘यह मराठी लड़की पड़ेगी सब पर भारी। सूरज पे मंगल भारी से पहला लुक। आप सभी को हैपी वैलंटाइंस डे।
सना के अलावा फिल्म में उनके को-स्टार मनोज बाजपेयी ने भी अपनी इंस्टाग्राम स्टोरी पर एक फोटो लगाया जिसमें वह फातिमा सना, नेहा पेंडसे और सुप्रिया पिलगावकर के साथ एक ट्रेन में बैठे हैं
