The fifth song from Student of the Year 2, titled Jatt Da, has been released online, and for a change, it shows the female characters objectifying a man. The song is picturised on stars Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria.
In the video, Tara’s character describes Tiger’s ‘Jatt’ character as ‘scenery’. “Palak jhapak ke nazaron se photo kheenchungi,” she sings at him, and continues, “Aate wakt tu scenery hai, jaate wakt nazaara.”
Other lyrics of the song, written by Anvita Dutt, go, “Soneya, haule se chal zara, fursat se main taad lun.” And then, Ananya’s character makes an appearance, rapping about ‘DPs’ and hashtags.
Student of the Year 2 is directed by Punit Malhotra, who takes over from Karan Johar, who directed the 2012 original. The first SOTY served as the Bollywood debut of actors Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan. Both Ananya and Tara are likewise making their film debuts with the sequel. While Ananya has Pati Patni Aur Woh lined up next, Tara will star opposite Sidharth Malhotra in Marjaavaan.
Each of the songs has inspired hilarious memes on social media, with fans making fun of everything from the lyrics to the fantastical elements of this world.
Directed by Punit Malhotra, Student Of The Year 2 is all set to hit screens on May 10.

टाइगर श्रॉफ, अनन्या पांडे और तारा सुतारिया की फिल्म ‘स्टूडेंट ऑफ द ईयर 2’ का ट्रेलर और गाने दर्शकों को खूब पसंद आ रहे हैं। फिल्म के आखिरी गाने ‘द हुकअप सॉन्ग’ में टाइगर के साथ आलिया भट्ट रोमांस करती दिखी थीं। मंगलवार को फिल्म का नया गाना ‘जट लुधियाने दा’ रिलीज कर दिया गया है।
‘जट लुधियाने दा’ गाने में टाइगर, तारा और अनन्या, तीनों ही नजर आ रहे हैं। कॉलेज में शूट किए गए इस गाने में टाइगर और तारा के बीच केमिस्ट्री साफ देखने को मिल रही है। फिल्म में टाइगर और तारा एक दूसरे से प्यार करते हैं, लेकिन उनके बीच अनन्या पांडे आ जाती हैं। इस वाली लाइन को आप नीचे दिए गए फिल्म के गाने में बखूबी महसूस कर सकते हैं।
फिल्म के इस गाने को पायल देव और विशाल डडलानी ने गाया है। अनविता दत्त ने इस गीत को लिखा है। विशाल और शेखर ने इसका संगीत तैयार किया है। बताते चलें कि ‘स्टूडेंट ऑफ द ईयर 2’ फिल्म से अनन्या पांडे और तारा सुतारिया बॉलीवुड में डेब्यू कर रही हैं। फिल्म 10 मई को रिलीज हो रही है।
