Ranbir Kapoor features in a never- seen-before look in the film Shamshera.The film, which also features Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor, will release in the theatres on July 31, 2020. Produced by Yash Raj Films, Shamshera goes on floors at the end of this year.Sanjay Dutt will be playing the “merciless and ruthless” villain in the film.Sanjay’s performance was much appreciated for his puffy eyes and the evil smile.After making our jaws drop with his stunning transformation in Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju, the 35-year-old actor is all set to take it a notch higher with his next Yash Raj film. Ranbir is all set to stun the audience with his never-seen-before avatar in Karan Malhotra’s Shamshera. Karan Malhotra has previously directed Agneepath (2012) and Brothers (2015).
Vani plays Ranbir’s love intrest in the film and is a very important collaborator in his character’s journey. Her character graph is interlinked to the plot of the film, making her a crucial catalyst in our hero’s rebellious mission.” This will be Vaani’s third film with the production house, after her debut Shuddh Desi Romance (2013) and Befikre (2016),The actress who was last seen in Befikre will be essaying the role of Ranbir’s love interest in the film and is a very important collaborator in his character’s journey. Vaani is a perfect fit for the role. She is a fine actor, a fabulous dancer and a gorgeous Hindi film heroine. After romancing Ranveer Singh in Aditya Chopra’s Befikre, now Vaani Kapoor is all set to act opposite Ranbir Kapoor in YRF’s Shamshera.Vaani will play the character of the most desirable and sought-after travelling performer from heartland India in this Karan Malhotra’s mega action adventure film.
The 45-second teaser, we saw Ranbir sporting a scarred look and his hands clad with deadly weapons. Ranbir is carrying an axe and a quiver full of arrows. Ranbir is set to push the envelope with Shamshera, wherein he plays a dacoit.The first look of the film was released along with the caption: “Presenting Ranbir Kapoor in a never seen before avatar in YRF’s next action adventure Shamshera. This is Ranbir’s third collaboration with YRF films after Bachna Ae Haseeno and Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year. The actor is currently played role of Sanjay Dutt biopic.

“Shamshera” is not a story of a ‘daaku’, but a film based in the 1800s, it is about a dacoit tribe who are fighting for their right and independence from the British. There was a great story of heroism, a story rooted in our country which actually happened back then.”The film will have an element of romance as well because Hindi movies are incomplete with a love story.A teaser of the project shows Ranbir leading an army of dacoits. Karan Malhotra’s high-octane, larger-than-life entertainer will have jaw-dropping action sequences.
Shamshera promises to be a high octane adventure film which will be set in the heart of India.

एक तरफ जहां रणबीर कपूर के संजू लुक की चर्चा चारों-तरफ हो रही थी वहीं इसी बीच वो अब ‘शमशेरा’ बनने वाले हैं।यश राज फिल्म ने टीजर पोस्ट करते हुए लिखा है कि करम से डकैत, धरम से आज़ाद।यह पंचलाइन फिल्म की कहानी के बारे में काफी कुछ कह जाती है। यश राज की अगली एक्शन फिल्म ‘शमशेरा’ में आपको रणबीर कपूर वह अवतार देखने को मिलेगा जो पहले कभी नहीं देखा होगा। इसके साथ यह भी बताया गया कि फिल्म को करन मल्होत्रा डायरेक्ट करेंगे। उन्होंने इससे पहले वाईआरएफ की ‘अग्निपथ’ और ‘ब्रदर्स’ फिल्म का निर्देशन किया है। इस फिल्म को आदित्य चोपड़ा प्रोड्यूस कर रहे हैं. 35 साल के रणबीर पूरे 9 साल बाद YRF बैनर के साथ जुड़ने जा रहे हैं. इस बैनर के साथ उनकी पिछली फिल्म ‘रॉकेट सिंह: सेल्समैन ऑफ द ईयर’ थी.
करण मल्होत्रा इससे पहले यशराज बैनर के लिए ‘अग्नीपथ’ और ‘ब्रदर्स’ जैसी फिल्मों का निर्देशन कर चुके हैं. इन फिल्मों का बॉक्स ऑफिस पर अच्छा प्रदर्शन देखने को मिला. शमशेरा उनकी तीसरी फिल्म है और इसके बारे में उन्होंने कहा- ‘शमशेरा ठीक वैसी ही फिल्म है जिसका मैं इंतजार कर रहा था. यह फिल्म 31 जुलाई साल 2020 में रिलीज होगी।
फिल्म में संजू खतरनाक विलेन के अवतार में नजर आएंगे. शमशेरा में रणबीर कपूर डकैत के किरदार में दिखेंगे,हाथ में कुल्हाड़ी और धनुष लिए.फिल्म में रणबीर की हीराइन की बात करें वाणी कपूर को साइन किया गया है, इसी के साथ बॉलीवुड में एक और फ्रेश जोड़ी की एंट्री होने जा रही है.फिल्म में वाणी कपूर भी होंगी और फिल्म में वो भी एक डकैत के किरदार में नजर आने वाली है।
यह एक एक्शन फिल्म है. 18वीं सदी की कहानी है .जब भारत अंग्रेजी हुकूमत की गिरफ्त में था। फिल्म की पृष्ठभूमि डाकुओं पर आधारित है। फिल्म में जबरदस्त एक्शन सीन होंगे। फिल्म में संजय दत्त मुख्य खलनायक की भूमिका में होंगे। यह पहली बार होगा जब संजय और रणबीर कपूर एक दूसरे के साथ स्क्रीन शेयर करेंगे।
इस तरह की डकैती वाली फिल्में हिंदी सिनेमा से गायब जैसे ही हो गई थी पर अब दोबारा वापस आ रही है और ऐसा माना जा रहा है कि अपनी इमेज से हटकर अब रणबीर कपूर हर तरह की फिल्मों में हांथ आजमा रहे है।इस फिल्म मे डकैती किरदार आपकी यादों को ताजा करने वाले है।
