Salman Khan took to Twitter to announce that Vinod Khanna’s brother Pramod Khanna will play the late actor’s role in Dabangg 3. The actor shared a video where Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and the film’s director Prabhu Deva are seen welcoming Pramod to the film.
Veteran actor Vinod Khanna, who passed away in 2017, played the role of Salman’s father Prajapati in Dabangg 3.
According to the entertainment portal, Dabangg 3 will portray Salman as a good-hearted local goon before becoming a cop. Not just Salman’s character, antagonist Sudeep’s role will also have an interesting flashback.
The villain will be introduced while narrating Chulbul’s past life. The publication also stated that Dabangg 3 will be completely different from the previous instalments, and showcase a cat and mouse chase between Salman and Sudeep’s characters.
Meanwhile, Salman has a strong line-up of upcoming movies. He will first be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat this Eid. Later he will start shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah. The superstar had also recently announced the making of third part of Tiger series. Salman is certainly having a promising stock of films in his kitty.
इन दिनों सलमान खान ‘दबंग 3’ की शूटिंग में बिजी हैं. फिल्म के दोनों पार्ट में विनोद खन्ना ने सलमान के पिता का रोल निभाया था. कुछ समय पहले विनोद खन्ना का निधन हो चुका है. ऐसे में काफी समय से कयास लगाए जा रहे थे कि अब दबंग 3 में सलमान के पिता का किरदार कौन निभाएगा. हालांकि अब सलमान ने इस बात का खुलासा कर दिया है.
सलमान खान ने अपने ट्विटर अकाउंट पर एक वीडियो शेयर किया है जिसमें उनके साथ सोनाक्षी सिन्हा, डायरेक्टर प्रभू देवा नजर आ रहे हैं. इसके साथ वीडियो में विनोद खन्ना के भाई प्रमोद खन्ना भी नजर आ रहे हैं. वीडियो में सबसे पहले सलमान और विनोद खन्ना की एक तस्वीर दिखाई गई है. इसके बाद कैमरे के सामने प्रमोद खन्ना को इंट्रोड्यूस किया गया है. इसके साथ ही बताया गया है कि अब फिल्म में प्रमोद खन्ना, सलमान के पिता प्रजापति पांडे का किरदार निभाएंगे. बता दें कि विनोद खन्ना और प्रमोद खन्ना लगभग एक जैसे दिखते हैं इसलिए उन्हें इस किरदार के लिए चुना गया है.
गौरतलब है कि टाइगर फ्रेंचाइजी के बाद दबंग सलमान की हिट फ्रेंचाइजी है. दबंग 2010 में रिलीज हुई थी और इसने बॉक्स ऑफिस पर 138 करोड़ रुपये की कमाई की थी. वहीं, दबंग 2 ने 155 करोड़ रुपये का कलेक्शन किया था. ऐसे में दबंग 3 से पहले दोनों से पार्ट से ज्यादा बिजनेस करने की उम्मीद की जा रही है.
