Captain Marvel is one of the most anticipated movies of 2019, and there were no shortage of actresses rumored for the role. Who almost played the superhero?
In the scene, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) find themselves in the middle of the Thanos-sparked chaos as half the universe’s population disappears. Fury manages to use his pager and apparently sends a message to Captain Marvel just as he, too, disappears into dust. Since her film arrives before the next Avengers films, it would seem she’s got an important role to play in Avengers4, possibly saving the universe from an invasion of the Skruls.
Danvers first appeared as a Marvel comic book character in 1968, and took on the title “Ms Marvel”, as a female counterpart to an earlier, male version of Captain Marvel (first introduced in 1939).
This iteration of the character, Carol Danvers, was created in 1968, and was an Air Force pilot, CIA agent, security director for NASA and writer. She’s also struggled with alcohol, like Iron Man Tony Stark, and her personal battles were depicted in numerous comic-book issues.
Her superpowers came from a Kree alien named Mar-vell, the original Captain Marvel, and include flight, super strength, the ability to absorb and use energy, and to shoot energy blasts and lasers from her hands.
Marvel have revealed that counter to expectations, the film won’t be an origin story for Brie Larson’s new hero (real name Carol Danvers) – instead she’ll start the movie fully powered and travelling through space, before returning to Earth to battle an alien invasion.
Captain Marvel” won’t take place at the same time as “Infinity War” or any of the other current Marvel movies — instead, it’s hopping back in time by a couple of decades. But we have every reason to believe the film will serve as a direct lead-in to the battle with Thanos.
Carol was an Air Force pilot tasked with investigating Mar-Vell, but befriended and later fell in love with him. During a battle with Mar-Vell’s enemy, Yon-Rogg, Carol was caught in the explosion of a Kree device that infused her DNA with Kree DNA. That gave her a number of special powers like what Mar-Vell has, including flight, strength, durability and the ability to absorb energy.
Mar-Vell eventually died of lung cancer on Titan, too — and in the comics, Thanos’ spirit appeared to lead Mar-Vell to the afterlife. Carol later took over the mantle of Captain Marvel after originally calling herself Ms. Marvel.
The trailer sets the table for a basic origin story — a woman who was in the Air Force but then spirited away to an alien civilization where she’s experimented on and ostensibly given super powers. However, there’s still a lot to be learned, as Marvel didn’t really reveal the villains, their motivations, or Captain Marvel’s mission in the teaser.
Larson has taken fighting at the Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. So it seems like Captain Marvel will tell the full origin story of Danvers’ journey to becoming the most powerful superhero of the MCU.

फिल्म Avengers Infinity war में जिस तरह दर्जनभर हीरोज़ को खत्म कर दिया गया है उससे फैन्स का दिल तो टूटा है लेकिन इस फिल्म के अंदर ही इन सुपरहीरोज़ की वापसी का रास्ता भी साफ हो गया है. फिल्म में जब सभी सुपरहीरोज़ धीरे धीरे हवा में विलीन हो रहे होते हैं उसी समय एजेंट निक फ्यूरी एक संदेश भेजते हैं.आधे से ज्यादा लोग ये समझ नहीं पाते की निक फ्यूरी ने यह संदेश किसे भेजा लेकिन यही आखिरी सीन और संदेश Avengers की आने वाली कहानी तय करता है. दरअसल निक फ्यूरी का वो संदेश एजेंट कैरोल डेनवर के लिए था. कैरोल, जिन्हें कैप्टन मार्वल के नाम से भी जाना जाता है और वो मार्वल यूनिवर्स की सबसे ताकतवर सुपरहीरो हैं.
इस फिल्म के साथ ही मार्वल यूनिवर्स में कैप्टन मार्वल की एंट्री हो रही है जो अपनी पहली फिल्म ‘कैप्टन मार्वल’ के साथ 2019 में पर्दे पर दिखाई देगी. कैप्टन मार्वल की इस फिल्म के साथ ही अवेंजर्स इनफिनिटी वॉर में मारे गए सभी हीरोज़ की वापसी का रास्ता तय होगा.
कैप्टन मार्वल की खासियत है कि वो अकेली ऐसी सुपरहीरो है जो आधी इंसान है और आधी एलियन. इसे आप सुपरमैन और वंडर वूमन का मिक्स समझ सकते हैं. 60 के दशक में क्री ग्रह से आए एक सुपरहीरो कैप्टन मार-वैल के साथ सहयोगी की तरह लड़ने वाली कैरोल को उनकी शक्तिया मिलती हैं जब एक हादसे में कैप्टन मार-वैल और उनका डीएनए मिल जाता है.
कैप्टन मार्वल के पास उड़ने से लेकर, कॉस्मिक तरंगे छोड़ने, सम्मोहन, आँखो से किरणे निकाल सकने जैसी अदभुत क्षमताएं हैं और वो हल्क के वार को अपने एक हाथ से रोक सकती है.कैप्टन मार्वल अभी तक किसी भी अवेंजर्स फिल्म का हिस्सा नहीं रही है लेकिन अब थानोस जैसे सुपरविलेन के सामने एक मेगा सुपरहीरो को उतारना मार्वल की मजबूरी हो गई थी. कैप्टन मार्वल इनफिनिटी स्टोन को हासिल भी कर सकती है क्योंकि परग्रही शक्तियों की मालकिन होने के चलते वो थॉर की तरह अलग अलग ग्रहों पर जा सकती है और हर ग्रह पर उसकी शक्तियां एक समान रहेंगी.
इस सुपरहीरो की एंट्री के साथ ही मार्वल का अवेंजर्स यूनिवर्स पूरा हो जाएगा और अब थानोस से इनफिनिटी स्टोन वापस लाने और सभी सुपरहीरोज़ को लौटा लाने का ज़िम्मा कैप्टन मार्वल का होगा.
एयरफोर्स में रहकर Carol ने कई बड़े मिशन पर काम किया ! फिर नासा ने उसे Head of Security नाम की एक पोस्ट ऑफर की ! कैरोल ने ये पोस्ट को ज्वाइन कर लिया और एयरफोर्स की छोड़ दिया ! नासा में कैरोल एक वाल्टन नामक वैज्ञानिक से मिलती है ! डॉक्टर वाल्टन इन्सान के रूप में एक एलियन थे ! उनका असली नाम था Marvel, और वो एक क्री एलियन थे ! क्री वही एलियन बेस है ! जिसे हम गार्डियन of गैलेक्सी में देख चुके है ! डॉक्टर वाल्टन लोंसन धरती पर Captain Marvel के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हो गये.
इस फिल्म के इवेंट 1990 के समय के है ! ये फिल्म आधारित है कॉमिक्स के क्री वॉर पर ! क्रीस्कल वॉर कॉमिक्स की बहुत ही प्रसिद्ध कहानी है ! जिसने क्री और स्कल एलियन बेस पर लड़ाई शुरू हो जाती है ! जिसकी वजह से धरती के लोग मुश्किल में पड़ जाते है !
स्कल हरे रंग के एलियन है ! जो की किसी का भी रूप धारण कर सकते है ! स्क्ल्स क्री के बहुत पुराने दुश्मन है ! इस लिए गार्डियन of गैलेक्सी का दुश्मन बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण है ! अब कुछ लोग ये सोच रहे होंगे की गार्डियन of गैलेक्सी के रोनन तो उसी फिल्म में मर गया था ! तो मैं एक बार फिर से याद दिला दूँ ! ये फिल्म 1990 के समय की है ! इसलिए MCU के बहुत सारे किरदार दिखेंगे जो फिलहाल मर चुके है ! इस Avengers Infinity War 4 में Nick Fyury भी दिखने वाले है ! और हमें यहाँ ये पता चलेगा की निक फ्यूरी ने अपनी आँख कैसे गवाई ! इस फिल्म में निक फ्यूरी मिलेंगे कैप्टेन मार्वल से और कैप्टेन मार्वल ही वो सुपर हीरो है जिससे निक फ्यूरी अपनी जीवन में पहली बार मिले थे.
