Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s coming film “Thackeray”, Nawazuddin will play the character of “Bal Thackeray”.
A lot has been said and written about late Shiv Sena leader Bal Thackeray. And soon a film based on his life will be released featuring the talented Nawazuddin Siddiqui in and as Balasaheb.
Nawazuddin posted the first teaser of the biopic, titled Thackeray, on Twitter. His post read, “It’s an honour and pride to portray the Real King of the Country on Screen. Here comes the TEASER of #Thackeray.
The one-minute-and-forty-second-long teaser opens dramatically and the first shot we see is that of an infant wailing in what seems to be a poorly structured area. The toddler’s wails are soon drowned as people rush past it to torch the place.
Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray said today that making a movie on his father and party founder Balasaheb Thackeray was not “easy”.
Speaking at the launch of a teaser of a film on Balasaheb Thackeray, he said making a movie on his father was difficult because it would not have a hero or a heroine.

नवाजुद्दीन ने ट्विटर पर, बायोपिक का पहला टीज़र, ठाकरे शीर्षक से पोस्ट किया। उनकी पोस्ट पर उन्होंने लिखा, “स्क्रीन पर देश के असली राजा को चित्रित करने के लिए यह सम्मान और गौरव है।
शिवसेना प्रमुख उद्धव ठाकरे ने आज कहा कि उनके पिता और पार्टी संस्थापक बालासाहेब ठाकरे पर फिल्म बनाना आसान नहीं था।
बालासाहेब ठाकरे पर एक फिल्म के टीज़र के शुभारंभ के अवसर पर उन्होंने कहा कि उनके पिता पर फिल्म बनाना मुश्किल था क्योंकि इसमें नायक या नायिका नहीं होती थी।
