The trailer of filmmaker Umesh Shukla’s web series Modi- Journrey of a Comman Man was released on Tuesday. The over three-minute-long trailer repeatedly stresses on how Prime Minsiter Narendrea Modi places the nation and the idea of democracy over everything else.
The series features Mahesh Thakur, Ashish Sharma and Faisal Khan, who will be seen depicting Narendra Modi in various stages of his life. Helmed by 102 Not Out fame director Umesh Shukla, Modi- Journey of a Common Man has been produced by Umesh Shukla, Ashish Wagh and Hitesh Thakkar with a screenplay by Mihir Bhuta and Radhika Anand.
The show will begin streaming sometimes in April on Eros Now.
The web series in 10-episode show highlights pivotal events in Modi’s life that led to him becoming India’s incumbent primes minister.
The trailer begins with scenes of a young Modi as a chaiwala at a railway station. It goes on to show him on a quest to become a sanyasi only to be fired into action by the Emergency. There are also glimpses of him as he grapples with the Godhara riots as Chief Minister of Gujrat. The trailer closes with a BJP leader urging his party to help Modi assume office as Prime Minister of India.
The show will premiere form April onwards. The web series has been written by Mihir Bhuta and Radhika Anand. Each episode will range form 35 to 40 minutes.

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की जिंदगी पर आधारित वेब सीरीज मोदी: द जर्नी ऑफ़ ए कॉमन मैन जल्द ही एरोस नाउ रिलीज़ की जाएगी।
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की लिखी कविता मोदी: जर्नी ऑफ़ ए कॉमन मैन में इस्तेमाल की गई है. यह कहनी मोदी के जीवन पर आधारित 10 हिस्सों वाली एक श्रंखला है.
निर्देशक को एरोस नाउ सीरीज में इसे इस्तेमाल करने की मंजूरी मिल गयी है और इसे कविता पर आधारित गीत के रूप में पेश किया जायेगा। ओरिजिनल सीरीज को मिहिर भुता और राधिका आनंद ने लिखा है. प्रत्येक एपिसोड 35 से 40 मिनट के बीच का है,जिसमे मोदी से जुडी कई घटनाओ को दर्शाया गया है.
ट्रेलर को काफी शानदार तरीके से दर्शको के सामने पेश किया गया है.ट्रेलर की शुरुआत एक चाय बेचने वाले बच्चे को दिखाकर की जाती है.ट्रैन से सट कर चाय बेच रहे बच्चे को ‘ए चाय’ कहकर पुकारा जाता है.
बच्चा कहता है कि उसका नाम चाय नहीं है. नाम पूछे जाने पर सीधा ट्रेलर में पी एम मोदी को शॉट दिखाया जाता है.यह शॉट काफी शानदार है.इस तरह से ट्रेलर दर्शको को काफी भा रहा है.इस सीरीज में नरेंद्र मोदी के जीवन से जुडी सामजिक और राजनैतिक घटनाओ के बारे में गहनता से दिखाया जायेगा।
सीरीज में गोधरा कांड का भी विशेष रूप से जिक्र किया गया है.ट्रेलर में एक गति है जो दर्शको को अपनी और खींचती है.इस वेब सीरीज को ‘ओह माय गॉड ‘ फेम डायरेक्टर उमेश शुक्ला ने डायरेक्ट किया है.अक्षय कुमार स्टारर फिल्म को डायरेक्ट करने के बाद उमेश ने अमिताभ बच्चन और ऋषि कपूर स्टारर 102 नॉट आउट बनायीं थी.
सीरीज में मोदी यंग का किरदार फैजल खान निभा रहे है.फैजल कई सारे टीवी सीरियल में काम कर चुके है, तो मोदी के नौजवान किरदार में आशीष शर्मा है और इसके अलावा पी एम मोदी का किरदार महेश ठाकुर निभा रहे है.मोदी के पिता के किरदार में दर्शन जरीवाला है.मोदी की माँ का किरदार प्राची शाह पांड्या निभा रही है. आशीष वाघा और हितेन ठाकुर भी इस फिल्म के प्रोडूसर है.राइटर मिहिर भुटा और राधिका आनंद है. सीरीज में संगीत सलीम सुलेमान का है.
