While Mithun Chakraborty is making a comeback with Mohit Sharma’s Bhootiyapa after a brief break due to ill health, his youngest son Namashi is also preparing for his debut. The young actor is going to make his Bollywood debut with Rajkumar Santoshi’s Bad Boy. Along with Namashi, producer Sajid Querishi’s daughter Amrin is being launch with the film.
The producer also revealed that the film will be on the lines of Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D’cruz’s Phata Poster Nikhla Hero and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif as youngsters connect with this genre.
The producer said that Mithun Chakraborty was in the US when Namashi was signed for the film. He added, “But on his return, he met us and discussed the script. Any father would be pleased to have his child launched by Rajkumar Santoshi, it means the film is in safe hands.”
The film is scheduled to be shot in the next 65 days in Mumbai and Bangalore. After a non-stop schedule in Banalore the will be shot in Mumbai for a few days. A few songs of the film will be shot abroad.
The makers are planning for a Diwali release for the film. Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4 is also scheduled to release this Diwali.

मशहूर बॉलीवुड फिल्म एक्टर मिथुन चक्रवर्ति के बेटे नमाशी चक्रवर्ति ने हिंदी सिनेमा में कदम रख दिया है. उनकी पहली फिल्म का नाम बैड बॉय होगा जिसकी हीरोइन साजिद कुरैशी की बेटी अमरिन कुरैशी होगी। फिल्म को इनबॉक्स पिक्चर्स प्रोडूस कर रहा है. नमाशी ने लीड हीरो के तौर पर यह फिल्म साइन की है जिसकी शूटिंग बेंगलूर में होगी।
‘बैड बॉय’ का निर्देशन डायरेक्टर राजकुमार संतोषी करेंगे। बता दे इन्होने ‘अंदाज अपना अपना’, ‘घायल’, ‘दामिनी’, ‘घातक’, ‘अजब प्रेम की गजब कहानी’ जैसी हिट फिल्मो को डायरेक्ट किया था. यह फिल्म ना सिर्फ नमाशी की डेब्यू होगी बल्कि इमरीन कुरैशी के लिए भी यह फ़िल्मी पर्दे पर आने का पहला मौका होगी।
फिल्म की शूटिंग बेंगलूर में शुरू हो चुकी है. शूटिंग बेंगलूर के अलावा मुंबई, में भी होगी, वही फिल्म के कुछ गाने भारत से बाहर फिल्माए जाएंगे। साजिद कुरैशी ने बताया कि उन्होंने नमाशी को फिल्म में लेने से पहले उनका कई बार ऑडिशन लिया तब जाकर उनका सेलेक्शन किया।
निर्माता ने कहा कि मिथुन चक्रवर्ति अमेरिका में थे जब फिल्म के लिए नमाशी को साइन किया गया था. उन्होंने कहा, लेकिन उनकी वापसी पर, वह हमसे मिले और कहानी पर चर्चा की. राजकुमार संतोषी द्वारा लांच किये गए अपने बच्चे को देखकर कोई भी पिता प्रसन्न होगा। इसका मतलब है कि यह फिल्म सुरक्षित हाथों में है.
