Karisma Kapoor has been absent from the big screen for a long time. The actress, however, will soon make her debut on the digital platform soon.
Karisma starrer web series Mentalhood will release on Zee5 and AltBalaji next month. The series also stars Shilpa Shukla, Tillotama Singh, Dino Morea, Shruti Seth and Sandhya Mridul.
Ekta Kapoor also shared the poster of the webseries saying, “On d auspicious occasion of MAHASHIVRATRI we kickstart d campaign of a show that is inclusive emotional n totally relatable ! The MOTHER of all shows ! To all the mental moms out there…I feel u …I know u ..I get u…n now I AM YOU ! -mentalmom.”
The Dil Toh Pagal Hai actress introduced her character in an earlier post. She wrote, “Meet Meira Sharma. A small town mom trying to navigate through this jungle of Mumbai momzillas. She knows parenting is about the right balance…it’s the finding of that balance that’s the tricky part. Her muddled thoughts are put on a blog…where she reaches out to every mom. SHE IS YOU. SHE IS ME. SHE IS EVERY MOM. A tired, stressed out, worrying, caring….mental mom.”
Mentalhood is written by Ritu Bhatia and directed by Karishma Kohli. It is produced by Ekta Kapoor.

मातृत्व के विभिन्न रंगों को रेखांकित करते हुए एक नया पोस्टर जारी किया गया हैं और पूरी तरह से हाइलाइट किया गया कि सभी भूमिकाएं कितनी अलग हैं। शो का सबसे नया पोस्टर जारी किया गया है और इसमें करिश्मा कपूर के अलावा डिनो मोरिया, संजय सूरी, संध्या मृदुल, शिल्पा शुक्ला, श्रुति सेठ और तिलोतमा शोम की अहम भूमिका है। करिश्मा कोहली के निर्देशन में बनी वेब सीरीज मेंटलहुड में करिश्मा कपूर मीरा शर्मा के तौर पर अपना डिजिटल डेब्यू कर रही हैं।
शो के निर्माता 24 फरवरी, 2020 को एक ट्रेलर लॉन्च का कार्यक्रम आयोजित करने के वाले हैं।
