Miss World Manushi Chillar is making her Bollywood debut with Prithviraj. She is starring opposite Akshay Kumar in the film.
Manushi took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her character. In the film based on the life of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, Manushi Chhillar will be seen playing the role of Sanyogita.
Talking about her role in the film, Manushi said, “It is a huge honour to have been chosen by a production house like Yash Raj Films as their heroine! I’m thoroughly happy and thrilled about the learnings that I will have through this journey. My life, so far, has really been a fairy tale. From becoming Miss India and then Miss World to now getting such a big project as my debut film, it’s like a new, exciting chapter of my life.”
She added, “It is a huge responsibility to play princess Sanyogita. She was a powerful personality and she stood up for what is right and took the most important decisions of her life by herself. Her life is an extremely important chapter in Indian history and I will try my best to play her as accurately as possible.”
The film will release on Diwali this year.

मानुषी छिल्लर फिल्म पृथ्वीराज से बॉलीवुड में कदम रखने जा रही हैं, जिसमें वह अक्षय कुमार के साथ नजर आएंगी।
उन्होंने बताया कि वह अपनी पहली फिल्म के एक गाने के लिए शूटिंग कर रही हैं।
मानुषी ने ट्विटर पर एक तस्वीर साझा की है, जिसमें वह अपने हेयर और मेकअप क्रू के साथ नजर आ रही हैं। इस तस्वीर में सिर्फ उनकी परछाई ही दिख रही हैं। इसके कैप्शन में मानुषी ने लिखा, हर कदम पर वे मेरे पीछे हैं।
मानुषी इस फिल्म में संयोगिता का किरदार निभा रही हैं। उन्होंने इंस्टाग्राम पर अपनी तस्वीर के सहारे इस किरदार के शैडो लुक को रिवील किया था। यशराज बैनर तले बन रही इस फिल्म में अक्षय कुमार और मानुषी के अलावा मानव विज, आशुतोष राणा और सोनू सूद जैसे सितारे नजर आ सकते हैं। ये फिल्म इस साल दिवाली पर रिलीज होने जा रही है।
