महिंद्रा Scorpio के नए मॉडल में पावर के लिए नया 2.0-लीटर डीजल इंजन दिया जायेगा इसका इंजन BS-6 नॉर्म्स को फॉलो करेगा नया इंजन 2.2 लीटर MHawk यूनिट की जगह होगा इसकी फ्यूल इफीशियंसी को पहले के मुकाबले ज्यादा बढ़ाया गया है इंजन 160 hp की मैक्सिमम पावर और 320 Nm का पीक टॉर्क जेनरेट करेगा इसका इंजन 6-स्पीड मैनुअल गियरबॉक्स से लैस होगा। इसमें 4-व्हील ड्राइव सिस्टम दिया जायेगा
