Imtiaz Ali is bringing Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan together on screen for the first time. Apart from these two, the upcoming film will also have Randeep Hooda in an interesting role.
Randeep, who has mostly picked intense roles in his career, has been roped in to play a ‘Love Guru’ in Imtiaz’s upcoming film.
A report in an entertainment website suggests that Randeep HOoda’s character will help Kartik woo his lady love Sara in the film, which is said to be a sequel to Imtiaz Ali’s 2009 hit Love Aaj Kal.
Director Imtiaz has worked with Randeep in Highway (2014) and reportedly, the duo is all set to reunite in the upcoming film. Apart from this, Randeep has worked in films like Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, Kick, Sarbjit, Sultan, Jism 2, etc.
The upcoming film will hit the screens on Valentine’s Day 2020.
The Imtiaz Ali’s directorial is believed to be a sequel to the 2009 film ‘Love Aaj Kal’ and will hit the screens on Valentines’ Day next year. The ‘Sarbjit’ actor was last seen in Ahmad Khan’s directorial ‘Baaghi 2’.
Kartik was last seen in Laxman Utekar’s directorial ‘Luka Chuppi’ wherein he shared the screen with Kriti Sanon. Meanwhile, Bollywood’s new face, Sara Ali Khan, has teamed up with Varun Dhawan for the adaptation of the timeless comedy ‘Coolie No. 1’.

हाल ही में इम्तिआज़ अली की फिल्म की शूटिंग पूरी कर चुके अभिनेता रणदीप हुड्डा का कहना है कि यह एक ऐसा वास्तविक अनुभव रहा, जिसने उन्हें खुद को कलाकार के तौर पर फिर से एक नए सिरे से खोजने में मदद की.
इम्तिआज़ के साथ अपनी एक तस्वीर साझा करते हुए रणदीप ने लिखा, “इम्तिआज़ अली के साथ आगामी फिल्म की मेरी शूटिंग खत्म हुई. फिल्म हाई वे के पांच साल बाद यह री यूनियन काफी शानदार रहा.
वही, अगर फिल्म की बात करे तो, रणदीप ‘लव आजकल 2’ में प्रेमगुरु के किरदार में नज़र आएंगे।
‘लव आजकल 2’ फिल्म 2009 में आई रोमांटिक कॉमेडी फिल्म ‘लव आजकल’ का सीक्वल है. इसमें कार्तिक आर्यन और सारा अली खान मुख्य भूमिकाओं में है. फिल्म 14 फरवरी, 2020 को रिलीज़ होगी।
