This is all set to leave the audience fascinated with his yet another unusual choice of role. The actor will be seen getting into the skin of a Naga Sadhu in his upcoming film ‘Laal Kaptaan’. Set in a tumultuous era of Indian history, the story of the film revolves around the life of a Naga Sadhu, who is out on a dramatic journey is ridden with drama, revenge, and deceit.
Just a while ago, the first look of lead actress Sonakshi Sinha was revealed. The makers have now released the first look of actor Deepak Dobriyal from the film. Known popularly for his comic roles, the actor is seen in a never seen before avatar in the film. While Sonakshi’s role has been kept a mystery, Deepak reportedly plays a character who tracks down an animal or a man by following his scent.
The first part of the trailer was recently revealed and features Saif as a naga sadhu who is ready to wreak vengeance from his enemies. The trailer also featured the narration from Sonakshi Sinha.
Directed by Navdeep Singh, the film promises a visual treat set in a larger-than-life landscape, with dramatic characters and a gripping narrative. The film is all set to hit the screens on October 18.

सैफ अली खान स्टारर फिल्म ‘लाल कप्तान’ का ट्रेलर सामने आने के बाद से ही लोगों में इस मूवी को लेकर एक्साइटमेंट बढ़ गया है। अब फिल्म के दूसरे स्टार्स के लुक्स भी धीरे-धीरे मेकर्स द्वारा शेयर किए जा रहे हैं। अब दीपक डोबरिआल, सोनाक्षी सिन्हा और जोया हुसैन के लुक्स भी रिलीज कर दिए गए हैं।
सोनाक्षी सिन्हा पारंपरिक परिधान पहने और चेहरे पर पर्दा डाले दिखाई दे रही हैं। सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट के मुताबिक, इस मूवी में सोनाक्षी का स्पेशल अपियरेंस होने वाला है। कहा जा रहा है कि भले ही यह रोल छोटा हो लेकिन फिल्म की स्टोरी में यह अहम टर्न लाएगा।
फिल्म ‘तनु वेड्स मनु’ के ‘पप्पी भैया’ के रूप में मशहूर हुए दीपक डोबरियाल ‘लाल कप्तान’ में शेडी रोल में नजर आएंगे। पोस्टर में उन्हें ‘द हंटर’ यानी शिकार करने वाला बताया गया है जो हर चीज को सटीकता के साथ ढूंढ सकता है और इसमें वह कभी फेल नहीं होता।
फिल्म में जोया हुसैन भी हैं। उन्हें पोस्टर में ‘द विडो’ यानी विधवा बताया गया है। उनके किरदार का परिचय देते हुए लिखा गया है, ‘वह शांत रहती है जो उसकी सबसे बड़ी ताकत है, लेकिन दिल से सोचती है जो उसकी सबसे बड़ी कमजोरी है’। आनंद एल राय ने पोस्टर शेयर करते हुए यह भी हिंट दी कि यह किरदार बदला लेता दिखाई देगा।
