The official teaser of the upcoming Punjabi film, Kala Shah Kala, dropped online on Wednesday. The film stars Binnu Dhillon and Sargun Mehta in the lead roles and has been touted as “a quirky love story that’ll make you smile from ear to ear.”
The 1-minute 20-seconds long teaser starts off with a man going through a facial steam session in a village salon – the one that has walls decorated with tacky posters of Bollywood stars of the ’90s. Once the session is over and the towel is taken off his face, he is revealed to be Binnu’s character. Unusually dark-skinned, this man is disappointed that subjecting his face to supremely hot steam did not help him even a bit – he is still dark enough to scare a little kid.
Kala Shah Kala is another one of love stories that has a dark-complexioned boy paired up with a fair-skinned girl. However, from what we can figure out from the teaser, the subject has been handled in a hilarious way. Whether or not the story takes a serious turn will be unveiled when the trailer comes out. But yes, the teaser is certainly a laugh riot.
Kala Shah Kala, presented by Zee Studios and produced by Naughty Men Production and Infantry Pictures in association with Dreamiyata Entertainment, also stars Jordan Sandhu, Karamjit Anmol, Harby Sangha, Nirmal Rishi, BN Sharma, Gurmeet Saajan, Anita Devgan, Shahnaz Gill in important roles. The film, written and directed by Amarjit Singh, is slated to hit the screens on February 14, the Valentine’s Day.

कुछ दिन पहले पंजाबी फिल्म (Punjabi Movie) ‘काला शा काला (Kala Shah Kala)’ का ट्रेलर काफी वायरल हुआ है. इस फिल्म की कहानी गहरे रंग वाले एक शख्स की है जिसका ख्वाब सुंदर सी पत्नी पाना है. लेकिन हर कोई रंग की वजह से उसे नजरअंदाज करता रहता है. उधर, सरगुन मेहता का ख्वाब सपनों का राजकुमार है. लेकिन ऐसा कुछ होता है कि दोनों टकराते हैं. ‘काला शा काला (Kala Shah Kala)’ की कहानी जितनी दिलचस्प नजर आ रही है, उतना ही शानदार इसका म्यूजिक भी है क्योंकि ट्रेलर में फिल्म के कई मजेदार सॉन्ग सुनने को भी मिलते हैं.
14 फरवरी को रिलीज होने वाली पंजाबी फिल्म काला शाह काला की स्टारकास्ट शुक्रवार को दैनिक जागरण के कार्यालय पहुंची, जहां उन्होंने अपने प्रशंसकों के साथ सेल्फियां लेकर 14 फरवरी को रिलीज होने वाली उनकी नई फिल्म को देखने की अपील भी की। गुरु नगरी से फिल्म की प्रमोशन की शुरुआत करने के लिए अमृतसर पहुंचे एक्टर व डायरेक्टर बीनू ढिल्लों ने बताया कि अमरजीत ¨सह द्वारा लिखी और डायरेक्ट की गई फिल्म काला शाह काला में उनके साथ सरगुन मेहता व जॉर्डन संधू मुख्य किरदारों में नजर आएंगे। फिल्म एक रोमांटिक कॉमेडी है, जिसमें एक सामाजिक संदेश भी देने की कोशिश की गई है।
रूप से ज्यादा भी बहुत कुछ होता है
एक्टर व डायरेक्टर बीनू ढिल्लों ने कहा कि अक्सर यह कहा जाता है कि पहला प्रभाव ही आखिरी प्रभाव है पर पहली झलक में तो आप बस किसी के रूप को ही देख सकते हैं। मगर एक आदमी में उसके रूप से ज्यादा भी बहुत कुछ होता है। काला शाह काला भी रूप-रंग की इस धारणा को तोड़ेगी और एक अंडर डॉग की कहानी बताएगी, जोकि परफेक्ट सुंदरता से परे है। फिल्म का ट्रेलर आ चुका है और उन्हें यकीन है कि लोग इस अंडर डॉग की कहानी जानने को जरूर उत्सुक होंगे।
फिल्म प्यार का सही अर्थ दिखाएगी
अदाकारा सरगुन मेहता ने कहा कि काला शाह काला फिल्म इस बात को दोबारा जाहिर करेगी कि प्यार सिर्फ सूरत के साथ नहीं होता बल्कि दिल से होता है। लेकिन यह फिल्म आपको एक प्यार भरी झप्पी के जैसे लगेगी, प्यार का सही अर्थ दिखाएगी और दर्शकों के चेहरे पर एक मुस्कान लेकर आएगी।
