Ishaan Khatter to romance Janhvi Kapoor in Dear Comrade Hindi remake.

At a time when Kabir Singh, the Hindi remake of Vijay Deverakonda’s Arjun Reddy, has become the biggest Bollywood grosser of 2019, another film of the Telugu star is set to get a remake in Bollywood. Producer Karan Johar is so impressed by Deverakonda’s Dear Comrade that he announced the film’s Hindi remake even before its offical release. And now a day after the big announcement, buzz has it that KJo is keen to rope in Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter for the film.

According to a report in Times of India, Janhvi and Ishaan are Karan’s first choice for Dear Comrade Hindi remake. Janhhvi and Ishaan made their Bollywood debut together with Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak in 2018, and since then, the two have been in news for their crackling chemistry. And going by the report, KJo is keen to recreate the magic in Dear Comrade.

Dear Comrade, which is set to hit the screens on July 26, stars Vijay Deverakonda as a student leader who falls in love with a state-level cricketer played by Rashmika Mandanna.

Currently, Janhvi Kapoor has wrapped up a schedule of Roohi Afza in Agra. Apart from the horror comedy, she will also be seen in Kargil Girl. Ishaan, on the other hand, has signed a film with Ali Abbas Zafar.

Buzz has it that Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter will be cast together in Dear Comrade Hindi remake.
