After being in the buzz for a long time, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer ‘Good Newwz’ has finally hit the theatres and it has opened to pretty good numbers. According to the report in BoxofficeIndia.com, the romantic-comedy film collected Rs 17.50 crore nett at the box-office on its first day on Friday. The collection sipped a little in the state of Uttar Pradesh owing to the socio-political scenario in the state due to the CAA protests. The film has reportedly done quite well in the Delhi-NCR and East Punjab regions.
‘Good Newwz’ has also reportedly has an opening day above ‘Housefull 4’ though that was pre-Diwali release. According to the reports, the film will have good chances to record the highest ever Akshay Kumar weekend score from this opening day.
After impressing one and all with their sizzling chemistry in ‘Aitraaz’ and ‘Kambakht Ishq’, Kareena and Akshay reunited for this film. Their jodi in this film too has been widely appreciated.
Zee Studios presents, in association with Cape Of Good Films – a Dharma Productions Film, Good Newwz. Directed by Raj Mehta, produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan, the film hit the theatres on 27th December.

अक्षय कुमार, करीना कपूर खान, दिलजीत दोसांझ और कियारा आडवाणी की कॉमेडी से भरपूर फिल्म ‘गुड न्यूज’ ने रिलीज होते ही बॉक्स ऑफिस पर धमाल मचा दिया. फिल्म ने कमाई के मामले में पहले दिन सलमान खान की ‘दबंग 3’ को कड़ी टक्कर देने के साथ ही पछाड़ दिया. ‘गुड न्यूज’ एंटरटेनमेंट की कमप्लीट डोज है, जिसमें कॉमेडी के साथ ही बेहतरीन एक्टिंग का भी कॉकटेल है. बॉक्स ऑफिस इंडिया डॉट कॉम वेबसाइट के मुताबिक अक्षय कुमार की फिल्म ‘गुड न्यूज’ ने पहले दिन 18 करोड़ रुपये की दमदार कमाई की.
आईवीएफ (IVF) के टॉपिक पर आधारित अक्षय कुमार और करीना कपूर की ‘गुड न्यूज’ फैन्स का दिल जीतने में कामयाब रही. वहीं, ‘गुड न्यूज’ की कहानी की बात करें, तो यह फिल्म मुंबई के सोफिस्टिकेटेड कपल वरुण बत्रा और दीप्ति बत्रा की कहानी है, जिनकी शादी को सात साल हो चुके हैं लेकिन वे माता-पिता नहीं बन पाए हैं. दोनों काफी सोच-विचार के बाद आईवीएफ से माता पिता बनने के लिए तैयार होते हैं. फिर एंट्री होती है देसी कपल हनी (दिलजीत दोसांझ) और मोनी (कियारा आडवाणी) की. दोनों कपल्स के स्पर्म इंटरचेंज हो जाते हैं, और फिल्म इसी टॉपिक को लेकर गढ़ी गई है. डायरेक्टर राज मेहता ने फिल्म को बहुत ही क्रिस्प रखा है और खींचा नहीं है. फिल्म के शुरू से लेकर आखिरी तक कॉमेडी का भरपूर टच है. ‘गुड न्यूज’ कहीं भी बैड न्यूज में तब्दील नहीं होती है.
‘गुड न्यूज’ में एक्टिंग की बात करें तो अक्षय कुमार ने वरुण का किरदार बढ़िया ढंग से निभाया है और करीना कपूर ने भी शानदार तरीके से उनका साथ दिया है. दोनों बतौर कपल फिल्म में खूब जमे हैं. दिलजीत दोसांझ और कियारा आडवाणी के देसी कैरेक्टर स्क्रीन पर आते ही कई रंग भर देते हैं. उनका बिंदास अंदाज और डायलॉग भी चेहरे पर हंसी ले आता है. इस तरह एक्टिंग के मामले में इन सभी सितारों ने दिल जीता है.
