The much-awaited sequel to 2013’s zombie comedy Go Goa Gone is finally happening, studios Eros international and Maddock Films announced on Wednesday.
The first film, which featured Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu, Vir Das and Anand Tiwari, followed three men whose holiday to Goa turns out to be a zombie nightmare.
Saif played the role of Boris, a Russian mobster-turned-zombie hunter, in the Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK-directed film.
According to the makers, the sequel will take off from the point where the original ended. All the actors are expected to reprise their characters.
Earlier, the film was to start its shooting schedule in 2019, but due to date issues with the actors, it got delayed to 2020. Now, the filming will start in September 2020, the film will release in March 2021.

इरोज इंटरनेशनल और मैडॉक फिल्म ने 2013 में आई जॉम्बी कामेडी फिल्म ‘गो गोवा गॉन’ के बहु प्रतीक्षित सीक्वल की घोषणा कर दी है। पहली फिल्म में सैफ अली खान, कुणाल खेमू, वीर दास और आनंद तिवारी थे। फिल्म की कहानी के अनुसार, तीन दोस्त गोवा की ट्रिप पर जाते है, लेकिन वह ट्रिप उनके बुरे सपने जैसी साबित होती है।
इसके बाद जॉम्बियों का शिकार करने वाले ड्रग डीलर की भूमिका निभा रहे सैफ अली खान सभी को मुसीबत से बचाते हैं। निर्माताओं के अनुसार सीक्वल वहीं से शुरू होगा जहां से पहली फिल्म खत्म हुई थी। ‘गो गोवा गॉन 2’ मार्च 2021 में रिलीज होगी।
