The first look of the biopic on PM Narendra Modi has been unveiled. Vivek Oberoi, who was last seen in Tamil movie, Vivegam, will be portraying the role of the Prime Minister. Called PM Narendra Modi, the biopic will be directed by Omung Kumar who made Mary Kom.
Oberoi who can be seen in the film poster, tweeted: Jai Hind We humbly ask for your prayers and blessings on this incredible journey. #AkhandBharat #PMNarendraModi. Oberoi is sporting the trademark look of PM Modi – a crisp kurta and can be seen with grey beard and hair.
Vivek Oberoi is set to portray Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an upcoming biopic and the actor, a self-confessed fan of the leader, calls it a role of a lifetime.
At the poster launch of the film, Vivek said he hopes to become a better person by the end of the shoot.
“I am extremely fortunate. Today, I am feeling like I felt 16 years ago, during ‘Company’ days. I am feeling the same kind of excitement and hunger because this is a role of a lifetime for any actor. I truly believe at the end of the journey, I pray I become a better actor and a better human being,” he told reporters.
“Narendra bhai is one of the tallest leaders in the world and to bring his personal qualities on screen is an incredible challenge and I want all your blessings that we can complete this incredible journey,” he said.
The film’s poster was launched in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in 27 languages. It features Vivek, dressed in a yellow kurta with the Tricolour in the backdrop. The tagline reads, “Deshbhakti ki meri shakti hai. [Patriotism is my strength]”
Mr. Fadnavis said it was great that a film on this scale was being made on Mr. Modi “under whose leadership India is not only touching new heights but the hopes and expectations of every citizen of India are being fulfilled.”
Actor Suresh Oberoi, Vivek’s father, is co-producing the film along with Sandeep Ssingh. The film is yet to go on floors.

ओमंग कुमार के निर्देशन में बन रही फिल्म नरेंद्र मोदी की बायोपिक फिल्म पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी का फर्स्ट लुक रिलीज हो चुका है . फिल्म में विवेक ओबेरॉय प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की भूमिका निभाते नजर आएंगे, यह खबर पहले ही आ चुकी हैं. फिल्म का प्रोडक्शन संदीप सिंह कर रहे हैं और इसके पहले पोस्टर का फैन्स को बेसब्री से इंतजार है. यह देखना दिलचस्प होगा कि विवेक पीएम मोदी के लुक में कैसे नजर आते हैं.
खबरों की मानें तो फिल्म के पोस्टर को 23 अलग-अलग भाषाओं में रिलीज किया गया है . इसका अनावरण महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फणनवीस करेंगे. फिल्म का निर्देशन कर रहे ओमंग इससे पहले सरबजीत और मैरी कॉम की बायोपिक फिल्में बना चुके हैं. इसलिए फैन्स को उनसे उम्मीदें काफी ज्यादा होंगी. हालांकि यह भी कहना होगा कि ओमंग का अब तक का ज्यादातर काम दर्शकों ने हाथों हाथ लिया है.
जाहिर तौर पर पब्लिक इस बात को जानती है कि फिल्म 2019 के चुनावी दंगल से पहले रिलीज की जा रही है तो इसका मतलब क्या है. निर्देशक ओमंग के सामने यह बड़ी चुनौती होगी कि वह फिल्म को भाजपा और पीएम मोदी के मुखपत्र की तरह पेश न करके एक संतुलित फिल्म के तौर पर जनता के सामने रखें.
पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी की बायोपिक ‘पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी’ का फर्स्ट लुक आ गया है। फिल्म में मोदी का किरदार विवेक ओबेरॉय निभा रहे हैं। सामने आए पोस्टर में राष्ट्रीय ध्वज लहराता दिखा रहा है और पोस्टर में पंचलाइन दी गई है- ‘देशभक्ति ही मेरी शक्ति’। लॉन्च होते ही पोस्टर सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो रहा है और यूजर्स इसपर मजेदार कमेंट कर रहे हैं। एक यूजर ने कमेंट किया- ‘मुकाबला चल रहा है क्या बीजेपी-कांग्रेस में’। एक अन्य यूजर ने लिखा- ‘बाकी सब ठीक है लेकिन नाक मोटी है’।
विवेक ने 2002 में फिल्म ‘कंपनी’ से बॉलीवुड में डेब्यू किया था। इसके बाद उन्होंने कई फिल्मों में काम किया। हालांकि, इंडस्ट्री में वे अपनी खास पहचान नहीं बना पाए। वे 2017 में आखिरी बार फिल्म ‘बैंक चोर’ में नजर आए थे।
इस फिल्म की शूटिंग इस साल 2019 में शुरु कर दी जाएगी और पीएम मोदी के किरदार में विवेक ओबरॉय दिखेंगें। विवेक इस प्रोजेक्ट को लेकर काफी ज्यादा उत्साहित हैं और इस समय का इंतजार कर रहें हैं।
