Sanjay Gupta and Bhushan Kumar’s gangster drama, ‘Mumbai Saga’, has created a lot of buzz in the industry. It has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. The film stars John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi, Suniel Shetty, Mahesh Manjeraker, Kajal Aggarwal and Prateik Babbar in pivotal roles. When the makers shared the first look of John, the internet erupted with praise for the actor’s look as the Gangster in the film.
Now, the makers of the film have released Emraan’s first look as the encounter specialist in the film, and this hits the bull’s eye as well. A fan of Sanjay’s narrative styles and the positions of the actors, Emraan revealed he was a little surprised when Sanjay approached him to play a cop and not a gangster.
The actor was also a little apprehensive about how the character was written since he wanted to steer clear of a character that was unidimensional and similar to ones already portrayed before in other films.

पिछले काफी दिनों से संजय गुप्ता के डायरेक्शन में बन रही फिल्म ‘मुंबई सागा’ चर्चा में है। फिल्म में जॉन अब्राहम, इमरान हाशमी, सुनील शेट्टी, काजल अग्रवाल, महेश मांजरेकर और प्रतीक बब्बर लीड रोल में हैं। कुछ दिनों पहले ही फिल्म से जॉन अब्राहम का फर्स्ट लुक सामने आया था जिसे लोगों ने काफी पसंद किया था। फिल्म में जॉन अब्राहम एक गैंगस्टर का रोल निभा रहे हैं जबकि उनके सामने एक एनकाउंटर स्पेशलिस्ट के तौर पर इमरान हाशमी होगें।
अब इस फिल्म से इमरान हाशमी का फर्स्ट लुक भी सामने आ गया है। वैसे इमरान पुलिसवाले के रोल में काफी इंप्रेसिव लग रहे हैं। पहले पहल जब संजय गुप्ता ने उन्हें इस रोल के लिए अप्रोच किया था तो वह ताज्जुब में पड़ गए थे क्योंकि उन्हें गैंगस्टर नहीं बल्कि पुलिसवाले का रोल दिया गया था। इस बारे में उन्होंने कहा, ‘मैंने ऐसे कई किरदार रिजेक्ट किए थे जो ‘वन्स अपॉन अ टाइम इन मुंबई’ के मेरे शोएब खान वाले किरदार जैसे थे। हो सकता है कि मैं संजय की फिल्म का ही इंतजार कर रहा था।’
हालांकि इमरान का रोल फिल्म में ग्रे शेड वाला है। वह एक ऐसे एनकाउंटर स्पेशलिस्ट हैं जो अपने रास्ते में आने वाले किसी भी आदमी को गोली मार देता है। इमरान ने कहा कि भले ही उनका यह किरदार पुलिसवाले का है लेकिन यह किसी गैंगस्टर से कम नहीं है। अब जॉन के बाद इमरान के फर्स्ट लुक को देखकर कहा जा सकता है कि फैन्स को इस फिल्म का बेसब्री से इंतजार होगा।
