‘एबी इंफोसॉफ़्ट क्रिएशन’, ‘जलसा पिक्चर्स’ और ‘पद्मजा प्रोडक्शंस’ के बैनर तले बनी फिल्म ‘नक्काश’ बनारस में रहने वाले एक मुस्लिम कारीगर अल्लाह रक्खा की कहानी है जो मंदिरो के गर्भगृह बनाने का काम करता है. बनारस में चल रही राजनितिक हलचलों से अल्लाह के काम में बाधा पहुंच रही है और वह अब पहले की तरह मंदिर में खुलेआम न जाकर चुपके से जाता है, ताकि किसी को पता न चल सके कि वह मुसलमान होकर मंदिर में काम करता है.
अल्लाह रक्खा के काम को भगवान दस वेदांती का संरक्षण प्राप्त है जो कि मंदिरो के ट्रस्टी है और मशहूर शख्सियत है, लेकिन एक दिन अल्लाह रक्खा के मंदिर में काम करने का भेद पूरी तरह से खुल जाता है और फिर उसे समाज की विघटनकारी शक्तियो से किस तरह से निपटना पड़ता है यही फिल्म की कहानी है.
यह फिल्म 31 मई को देशभर में रिलीज़ होगी। फिल्म का संगीत अम्न पंत ने तैयार किया है और गाने आलोक श्रीवास्तव ने लिखे है. फिल्म को बनारस की खूबसूरत लोकेशन पर फिल्माया गया है. अब देखना होगा कि ज्वलनशील मुद्दों पर बनी इस फिल्म का दर्शको से केसा रिस्पांस मिलता है.
