Actress Banita Sandhu, who made her Bollywood debut with the film October in 2018, will be seen in Priscilla Quintana starer Pandora, a sci-fiction series.
The regular cast includes Oliver Dench, Raechellie Banno, John Harlan Kim, Ben Radcliffe, Banita, Martin Bobb-Semple and Noah Huntley. Production is underway in Bulgaria. A premiere date has not been set.
Set in the year 2199, Pandora centres on Jax, played by Quintana, a resourceful young woman who has lost everything after the death of her parents but finds a new life at Earth’s Space Training Academy where she and her friends learn to defend the Galaxy from threats, both alien and human.
When secrets about the nature of her own identity begin to surface, she must uncover the truth, and whether she will be humanity’s saviour or the instrument of its destruction.
Banita will play Delaney Pilar, Jax’s roommate.
She is brilliant, nannite-enhanced woman with cybernetic implants who is able to process information more quickly as she is perpetually connected to the Datastream.

साल 2018 में आई फिल्म ‘अक्टूबर’ से डेब्यू करने वाली अभिनेत्री बनिता संधू अब प्रिसेल्ला क्विंटाना स्टारर साइंस फिक्शन सीरीज ‘पान्डोरा’ में नज़र आएगी।
डेडलाइन डॉटकॉम की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, ओलिवर डेंच, रेचल बन्नो, जॉन हर्लोन किम, बेन रैडक्लिफ़, बनिता, मार्टिन बॉब सैंपल और नूह हंटले, सीरीज में नज़र आएंगे।सीरीज का प्रोडक्शन बुलगरिआ में जारी है.
बनिता ने ट्वीट किया, ” द सी डब्ल्यू के साथ अपने अगले प्रोजेक्ट की घोषणा करते हुए बहुत उत्साहित हु.”
सीरीज की कहानी साल 2199 के समय की है. ‘पंडोरा’ की कहानी मूलत: जैक्स की है जिसे सीरीज में प्रिसीला क्विंटाना निभा रही है. जैक्स एक योग्य नवयुवती है, जो अपने माता-पिता की मृत्यु के बाद अपना सब कुछ खो चुकी है, लेकिन पृथ्वी के अंतरिक्ष प्रक्षिशण अकादमी में उसे एक नई जिंदगी मिलती है जहां वह अपने दोस्त के साथ एलियन व इंसान दोनों के खतरों से गैलेक्सी का बचाव करना सीखती है.
बनिता संधू, डेलेंन पिलर का किरदार निभा रही है, जो जैक्स की रूममेट है.
