इस फिल्म की कहानी की बात की जाये तो अपने भूलने की आदत के कारण हेयरड्रेसर हैरी (अक्षय कुमार) खतरनाक माफिया डॉन माइकल (मनोज पाहवा) के पांच मिलियन डॉलर्स को कपड़े समझकर वाशिंग मशीन में धो देता है बस तभी से माइकल हैरी और उसके दोस्त मैक्स (बॉबी देओल) और रॉय (रितेश देशमुख) की जान के पीछे पड़ जाता है पैसों का जुगाड़ करने के लिए ये तीनों अरबपति ठकराल (रणजीत) की तीनों खूबसूरत बेटियों कृति (कृति सेनन) नेहा (कृति खरबंदा) और पूजा (पूजा हेगड़े) से शादी करने का प्लान बनाते हैं शादी की रस्म के लिए जब ये विदेश से इंडिया के सितमगढ़ आते हैं जब हैरी को याद आता है कि वह आज से तकरीबन 600 पहले अर्थात 1419 में सितमगढ़ का राजकुमार बाला देव सिंह था
यह बात उसका विश्वासपात्र नौकर पास्ता (चंकी पांडे) याद दिलाता है जब हैरी को यह अहसास होता है कि इस जन्म में वे अपनी पूर्व जन्म की प्रेमिकाओं के बजाय अपनी पूर्व जन्म की भाभियों से शादी करने जा रहे है तो वह अपने दोस्तों और उनकी प्रेमिकाओं को याद दिलाता है कि कैसे कृति पिछले जन्म में राजकुमारी मधु, रॉय नृत्य के गुरु बांगड़ू मैक्स राजकुमारी का अंगरक्षक धरमपुत्र था और नेहा राजकुमारी मीना थी जबकि नेहा राजकुमारी माला थी कहानी में पेंच तब आता है जब पिछले जन्म के दो अन्य किरदार गामा (राणा दुगुबत्ती) पप्पू रंगीला और राघवन (शरद केलकर) भी इस जन्म में सितमगढ़ आ पहुंचते हैं पिछले जन्म की अधूरी प्रेम और बदले की कहानी इस जन्म में पूरी हो पाती है या नहीं
