Akshay Kumar will reprise Lawrence’s role in the Hindi remake of Kanchana. Lawrence, who directed the original will be helming the Hindi version as well.
Kanchana is a horror comedy featuring Lawrence, Sarath Kumar and Raai Laxmi in the lead roles. The film is about a fearful guy who gets haunted by a ghost when he goes to play in an empty ground. Soon, the possessed spirit is out to take revenge on those who wronged her.
An offfical confirmation regarding the Hindi remake of Kanchana is yet to arrive. While Kollywood is tired fo watching horror comedy films, Bollywood is still new to the concept.
Last year, Rajkumar Rao and Sharddha Kapoor’s Stree, which is a horror comedy flick made waves in Bollywood and became one of the blockbusters.
As Akshay is known for his excellent comic timing and penchant for socially responsible films, Kanchana will be a perfect package for the acotr. Besides the entertainment factor, Kanchana also has a important message on how society should treat transgenders. In fact, in the pre- climax portion Kanchana’s hero Lawrence takes revenge against the villians in a transgender getup. Thus, audience may get to see Akshay in a similar look in the film’s Hindi version.

अक्षय साउथ की सुपरहिट हॉरर कॉमेडी ‘कंचना 2’ के हिंदी रीमेक में मुख्य किरदार निभाएँग। इस फिल्म की कास्टिंग प्रोसेस शुरू हो गयी है. फिल्म को लेकर लेटेस्ट अपडेट यह है कि इसमें किआरा आडवाणी और माधवन की भी एंट्री हो गयी है.
दिलचस्प बात यह है कि किआरा और माधवन इससे पहले साउथ के कई प्रोजेक्ट में साथ काम कर चुके है. भले ही किआरा ने अपने करियर हाल ही में शुरू किया है पर वे बॉलीवुड के साथ ही साउथ इंडस्ट्री का भी जाना माना चेहरा है.
इस ओरिजिनल फिल्म को साउथ के डायरेक्टर राघव लॉरेंस ने डायरेक्ट किया था. इसके हिंदी रीमेक के लिए डायरेक्टरी को फाइनल किया जा रहा है.
यह फिल्म अगले साल रिलीज़ होगी।कंचना फ्रैंचाइज़ी की पहली फिल्म 2007 में ‘मुनि’ नाम से रिलीज़ हुई.2011 में इसका पार्ट मुनि 2 कंचना रिलीज़ हुआ. अब 2019 में इसी सीरीज की अगली फिल्म ‘कंचना 3: काली’ रिलीज़ होगी।इन सभी फिल्मो का निर्देशन राघव लॉरेंस ने किया है.
अक्षय की इस फिल्म की कहानी एक रिवेंज ड्रामा बताई जा रही है.जिसमे अक्षय एक ऐसे आदमी का रोल प्ले करेंगे जिसे भूतो से डर लगता है. इसलिए वो सूरज डूबने के बाद घर से भर पाव नहीं रखता लेकिन कहानी में ट्विस्ट तब आता है जब उसका सामना एक ट्रांसगंगेर बहुत से होता है.
अक्षय कुमार का हर साल ही जबरदस्त होता है क्यों कि उनकी एक से एक डिफरेंट टाइप की फिल्मे रिलीज़ होती है. मगर 2019 में उनकी कई साडी बड़ी फिल्मे आने वाली है जैसे केसरी, मिशन मंगल, हाउसफुल 4, हेरा फेरी 3 , और सोने पे सुहागा उनके हाथ अब ये हॉरर कॉमेडी भी आ गयी है.
