अजय ने ट्विटर पर फ़िल्म के दो नये पोस्टर रिलीज़ किये हैं। इन पोस्टरों पर अजय फुटबॉल टीम के साथ नज़र आ रहे हैं। रिलीज़ डेट दी गयी है 11 दिसम्बर 2020। मैदान एक पीरियड स्पोर्ट फ़िल्म है, जिसमें अजय देवगन भारतीय फुटबॉल कोच सैयद अब्दुल रहीम के किरदार में नज़र आएंगे। उनकी कोचिंग में टीम इंडिया ने 1962 में हुए एशियन गेम्स में गोल्ड जीता था। 1965 में मेलबर्न में हुए ओलंपिक्स में फुटबॉल टीम ने सेमी फाइनल तक का सफर तय किया था। फ़िल्म का निर्देशन अमिर आर शर्मा कर रहे हैं, जबकि बोनी कपूर निर्माता हैं। प्रियमणि फ़िल्म में फीेमेल लीड में हैं।
