इस फिल्म में शाहिद कपूर ने कबीर राजवीर सिंह का किरदार निभाया है और किआरा अडवाणी ने प्रीति का इस फिल्म की कहानी की बात की जाये तो कबीर राजवीर सिंह की है जो आईआईएम से पढ़ाई कर रहा है और वहां का टॉपर स्टूडेंट है और कॉलेज के फुटबॉल टीम का कप्तान भी है लेकिन कबीर की सिर्फ एक ही दिक्कत है उसे गुस्सा बहुत आता है

बता दे की फिल्म कबीर सिंह साल 2017 में आई सुपरहिट तमिल फिल्म अर्जुन रेड्डी की रीमेक है इस फिल्म का डायरेक्शन संदीप वांगा ने किया है संदीप वांगा ने फिल्म कबीर सिंह को बिलकुल अर्जुन रेड्डी के जैसा बनाया है हालांकि अगर इस फिल्म को लेकर फैन्स के रिएक्शन की बात करें तो इस फिल्म को देख फैन्स कुछ खास रिएक्शन नहीं दे रहे हैं
