फिल्म पन्गा के डायरेक्टर की बात की जाये तो इस फिल्म का डायरेक्शन अश्विनी लेयर तिवारी ने किया है और इस फिल्म को प्रोडूस फॉक्स स्टार स्टूडियो ने किया है डायरेक्टर अश्विनी लेयर तिवारी ने इस से पहले साल 2017 में आई फिल्म बरेली की बर्फी का डायरेक्शन किया था ये रोमांटिक कॉमेडी फिल्म थी और इस फिल्म ने रिलीज होने पर 50 करोड़ से उप्पर का बॉक्स ऑफिस कलेक्शन किया था अश्विनी लेयर तिवारी ने इसके अलावा निल बट्टे सन्नाटा और तमिल फिल्म अम्मा कनक्कु का डायरेक्शन किया है
फिल्म पन्गा की शूटिंग पिछले साल 2018 में भोपाल में शुरू की गई और हाल ही में कुछ दिनों पहले इस फिल्म का एक लुक सामने आया है जिसमें कंगना और जस्सी गिल किसी हिल टॉप पर खड़े नजर आ रहे हैं इसमें कंगना हंसती हुई लग रही हैं यह सीन सन सेट का है इस फिल्म को लेकर कंगना काफी उत्साहित है अब ये देखना दिलचस्प होगा कि पीरियड ड्रामा के बाद कंगना का कबड्डी प्लेयर अवतार कैसा होगा फिल्म की रिलीज डेट की बात की जाये तो अगले साल 24 जनवरी 2020 से सिनेमाघरों में रिलीज की जाएगी
