Aayush Sharma, who made his acting debut with Loveyatri, will next star in an action drama film, titled Kwatha.
The 33-year-old actor will be portraying an army officer in the film.
“It’s a huge honour to play an army officer. I’m really looking forward to start shooting for the film, ” Aaysuh said in a statement here.
The actor said he has already started preparing for the film.
The film is inspired by true events and will show how few incidents change a man’s opinion and perspective on certain things.
Kwatha is produced by Sunil Jain and Aditya Joshi of Cult Entertainment and directed by Karan Lalit Bhutani.
The film is most likely to go on floors around September this year and is scheduled to release in 2020.
Talking about the film, Butani told Mumbai Mirror, “It’s a real-life story and the title Kwatha comes from a place in Manipur, one of the villages on the border of India and Mynamar. It’s a story about an army officer and the relationship that he shares with this village.”

एक सूत्र ने बताया, “यह एक एक्शन ड्रामा है, जो भावनाओ से भरपूर है, इस फिल्म में एक युवा अभिनेता सेना के मेजर की भूमिका निभाएंगे। आयुष फिर से एक बिलकुल नए लुक में नज़र आएंगे और उन्होंने इसके लिए तैयारी भी शुरू कर दी है. “क्वाथ”सच्ची घटनाओ से प्रेरित है और इसमें दिखाया जाएगा कि कैसे कुछ घटनाये कुछ चीज़ो को लेकर उसके विचार और धारणा को बदल देती है.”सूत्रों के मुताबिक फिल्म की शूटिंग सितंबर के आस पास शुरू होगी।
अभिनेता ने पिछले साल फिल्म ‘लवयात्रि’ से अपने करियर की शुरुआत की थी.”क्वाथ” का निर्माण सुनील जैन और कल्ट एंटरटेनमेंट के आदित्य जोशी कर रहे है और करण ललित भूटानी इसके निर्देशक है.
